Description:

Blessed Trinity Catholic High School is seeking a Content Specialist to join its Office of Communications. The content specialist will have an integral hand in shaping the digital presence of the school through social media, storytelling and marketing. This is a full-time, 12-month position. Content Specialist Responsibilities & Duties
Create and edit engaging content for various platforms including school website, social media (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) and email campaigns
Lead social media strategy across all departments of the school, including admissions, advancement, campus ministry, fine arts and athletics.
Optimize content for SEO to improve search engine rankings
Collaborate with marketing, enrollment, and advancement teams to align content strategies
Monitor content performance and make data-driven adjustments
Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely publication
Proofread and edit content for grammatical accuracy and style consistency
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices
Engage with the audience through comments, messages and social media posts
Content Specialist Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a Social Media specific field.
Familiarity with photo and video creation tools (cameras, lighting, sound, etc.)
Familiarity with content creation software (Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.)
Proven experience in content creation, writing or editing
Strong understanding of SEO and content marketing strategies
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with social media management tools
Graphic design skills or familiarity with design software
Analytical skills to measure content performance
Strong research skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed for event coverage
Availability to travel to off-campus events for content collection

This position may be asked to contribute to the school in other areas, such as clubs or athletics.
