St. Pius X Catholic High School (Atlanta, Georgia), a Catholic college preparatory school in the Archdiocese of Atlanta, is seeking a Head Varsity Football Coach & Football Program Director. This high-profile individual reports directly to the Athletic Director and is needed to lead its storied program beginning in the 2026 season.
The coach is responsible for fostering a culture of excellence that reflects the mission & values of St. Pius X—forming young men of faith, character, & integrity both on & off the field.
The ideal candidate must be a faith-filled individual who supports & lives in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church. They must be a transformational leader committed to the holistic development of student-athletes: spiritually, academically, & athletically. The candidate should be highly organized with strong communication & interpersonal skills, capable of engaging stakeholders including students, parents, alumni, & the broader community.
A minimum of five years of experience coaching at the varsity level is required; prior head varsity coaching experience is preferred but not required. The candidate must be collaborative with the Athletic Department & school leadership. The successful applicant must be a qualified educator; all teaching disciplines will be considered.
