Position: Upper School Math Teacher - Long Term Sub
Location: Mill Springs Academy - Alpharetta, GA

About the role: We are seeking a creative, student-centered educator to support academic and social growth through engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction. This full-time role may include teaching five academic classes and an Advisory.

What You'll Do:

Design and deliver project-based, hands-on, student-driven instruction

Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and abilities

Assess and track student progress; communicate regularly with families and staff

Foster a positive classroom environment and strong student relationships

Implement the school’s social curriculum with an emphasis on community

Participate in meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred); minimum 3 years teaching experience

Special Education degree or endorsement preferred

Experience working with students with learning differences

Creative, flexible teaching style and strong collaboration skills

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Proficiency with educational technology, including Google Classroom and LMS platforms
