Job Description

Position Description: Girls Golf Coach

Basic Requirements: Coaches/Community coaches are vital to the success of Lovett’s sports teams. Coaches/Community coaches will run practices with another coach and help provide direction and feedback to the athletes.

Golf Schedule: The Varsity Golf season runs from mid-February through mid-May. Practices are typically 4:00 - 6:00 p.m., five days per week.

Responsibilities:

● Promote good sportsmanship and foster character in student athletes
● Provide for the safety and welfare of all participants
● Help supervise students in practice areas, locker rooms, and buses at all times during the season
● Exercise patience, tolerance, and diplomacy when communicating with all players, parents, co-workers, contest officials, and spectators
● Lead by example and be a positive role model for all athletes
