Description:
We’re hiring an Interim Middle School Assistant Athletic Director to lead and grow a dynamic athletics program focused on teamwork, skill development, and student well-being. This role oversees all aspects of middle school athletics, including program planning, scheduling, coach supervision, and event coordination. The ideal candidate is an organized and collaborative leader who can foster a positive, inclusive environment for student-athletes while maintaining strong communication with families and staff. Responsibilities also include managing facilities and equipment, ensuring safety protocols, and supporting student-athletes’ academic success.
This position plays a key role in promoting sportsmanship, school spirit, and community engagement, while ensuring compliance with league regulations and equity standards. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of coaching experience, with leadership experience preferred. Based in Sandy Springs, GA, this full-time role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact and potentially grow into an ongoing Athletic Director position.
