Description:

Swift School is an independent, K-8 school that serves approximately 150 students. Swift’s mission is to prepare students with dyslexia and related language-based learning differences to be successful in life. We recognize that each child is unique, and our teaching approach, timeframe, and expected outcomes reflect each student’s individuality. Our faculty is passionate about teaching children with learning differences. Given that students have multiple needs, our teachers collaborate with highly trained learning support staff to ensure the best overall academic plan for each student.

An Aftercare Associate will assist in providing academic support and a safe, fun environment for students after school hours.

Qualifications:

· Minimum one year of experience with school age children required

· Bachelor degree preferred but not required

Responsibilities Include:

· Supervising and ensuring the safety of students during aftercare hours

· Leading age appropriate activities

· Maintaining a clean and organized space

· Communicating effectively with parents and staff

· Supporting students with homework or quiet activities as needed
