St. Pius X Catholic High School
St. Pius X was opened in 1958 as the first high school of the newly established Diocese of Atlanta. Each year, we welcome an estimated 1,100 high school students to campus. Our mission as an archdiocesan high school is to provide a college preparatory education for the formation of the mind, body and spirit of each student in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church. It is our vision to form students of strong character and deep faith who complete college, serve others, and participate actively in the life of the Church. All courses offered are college preparatory, with three tiered levels of learning; Advanced Placement (27 courses offered), Honors, and College Prep. St. Pius X has an active campus ministry program, offering multiple mission trip opportunities each year. The fine arts program includes band, dance, drama, guitar, music technology, music theory, theater technology, visual arts, and vocal ensemble. Our Golden Lions athletic program offers 61 teams at all levels of play.
